Brazil conquered the title in Lima. They prevailed against the USA in the championship game. The North American side eked out a 22:20 lead ten minutes into the game. Brazil however erased the deficit and snatched a 39:38 halftime advantage. The Latin American side maintained the lead throughout the third term and entered the fourth stanza up by two points 55:53. Brazil then sank 24 points in the final period to secure the victory. Taina Paixao (175-G-91) produced 24 points and 7 boards, while Clarissa Dos Santos (188-C-88) and Raphaella Monteiro (181-F-95) added 12 points each for Brazil. Beatrice Mompremier (193-F-96) and Chennedy Carter (170-G-98) had 16 points apiece for the USA.

Colombia - Puerto Rico 55-66
Puerto Rico stepped onto the podium in Lima. They edged Colombia to earn the Bronze medals. Puerto Rico built a decisive lead in the first half. They went on a 23:6 run in the second quarter to ensure a 36:15 halftime advantage. Colombia cut the distance in the second half but could not overcome the deficit. Jazmon Gwathmey (188-G-93, college: JMU) accounted for 13 points and 14 rebounds, while Isalys Quinones (190-F-97) added 12 points in the win. Narlyn Mosquera (197-C-89) replied with 13 points for Colombia.
