Brazil have won Group B of the PanAmerican Games 2023. They overcame Puerto Rico 72:69 to finish on top with a 3-0 record.
Brazil started with a 19-15 run, whilst Puerto Rico took control with a 21-13 rally in the second quarter. Brazil meanwhile needed a 21-17 and 19-16 rallies to seal the win. Lucas Silva (208-C-1995) top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Danilo Fuzaro (193-G-1994) delivered 15. Nicholas Boyd (190-G) answered with 18 points in defeat and Dimencio Vaughn (196-G/F-1997, college: Rider) had 11.
