Ciudad N. can celebrate their first win this season after four consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Luque, where they edged Luqueno (0-4) 69-67 on Thursday. Nelson Peralta stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Joao Lima responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Luqueno's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ciudad N. (1-4) left bottom position moving up to eighth place. It was Luqueno's fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. Ciudad N. will meet at home higher ranked San Alfonso (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Luqueno will play against Felix Perez (#7) in Asuncion and hopes to get finally their first victory.
