San Jose (4-1) recorded its first loss in Asuncion on Thursday night. Hosts were defeated by leader Colonias (4-0) 66-62 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of San Jose. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The best player for the winners was Diego Silva who scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. International center Juan Poisson (198-1998) chipped in 8 points and 8 rebounds. Argentinian point guard Guillermo Aliende (178-1997) produced 15 points and 5 assists and the former international guard Carlos Luis Vallejos (183-1992) added 12 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Colonias have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. San Jose at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost.
