Regatas wins Superior league title - Nov 10, 2011
Regatas is the new Superior league champion. They managed to grab 76-74 victory against Real Club in crucial Game Five of the Playoff Finals. Home teams were untouchable in this series. Real Club celebrated 83-75 home win in Game Four tying the score to 2-2. Regatas outplayed Real Club 88-83 in Game Three. Real Club celebrated at home in Game Two 90-81 and Regatas took the Game One 88-57.
Regatas advanced to the Finals after 3-1 win against El Bosque. Regatas celebrated 73-81 victory as a guest in Game Four. El Bosque surprised Regatas in Game Three on the road. They celebrated 70-75 win to extend the series. However, it is over now and Regatas advanced to the Finals. Regatas was No.1 in regular season with 29-2 record.
Real Club also celebrated with 3-1 in the Semis. They grabbed 68-71 victory against Escuela Fap in Game Four. The series was tied at 1-1 earlier and Real Club managed to win two consecutive games. Real Club was No.2 in regular season. They had 26-5 record.
