Mosby comes back to Atenienses, ex Hanabank

Bernice Mosby

Atenienses de Manatee (BSNF) strengthened their roster with addition of 32-year old American small forward Bernice Mosby (186-84, college: Baylor). It is actually her comeback to Atenienses as she has played here before. Mosby played most recently at Hanabank in South Korean WKBL. In 33 games she recorded 12.9ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.5apg and 1.0spg last season.
In 2007 Mosby was drafted by Washington Mystics (WNBA) in first round (6th overall).
She attended Baylor University and it will be her tenth season in pro basketball. Mosby played in the final of WKBL. She was selected to Korean WKBL All-Star Game in 2016.
Mosby is a very experienced player. Thanks to her pro career she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in eight different countries. Mosby has played previously professionally in France (Arras), Greece (Panionios), Israel (Elitzur Holon), Italy (San Giovanni), Poland, Portugal (Lombos Quinta), Spain (Perfumerias Avenida, Conquero and Gernika) and WNBA (Indiana Fever).
The scouts decsribe her following way: Bernice is a tremendously athletic player who can drive to the basket and jump over anyone or score with a 3-pt shot. She is a very physical player who relies on being very aggressive on defense.
