Cangrejeras sign Talia Caldwell, ex Conquero

Talia Caldwell

Cangrejeras de Santurce (BSNF) signed 25-year old American center Talia Caldwell (188-91, college: California). She played last season at Conquero in Spanish Liga Catalana. In 24 LFB games she had very impressive stats: 15.0ppg, 11.2rpg (leader !!!) and 1.5apg. Caldwell helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also played in the Cup final. They also advanced to the league semifinals. Quite impressive season as she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LFB Center of the Year, named to 1st Team and named to All-Imports Team.
She played in the final of Pac-12 Tournament in 2012.
Caldwell has played previously professionally in Greece (Ippokratis) and Poland (Energa Torun).
She attended University of California until 2013 and it will be her fourth season as a professional player.
