Ponce secures Liz and Cheatham:

Leones de Ponce secured guards Victor Liz (193-SG-86, agency: BMS Sport Agency) and Haanif Cheatham (196-G-96, college: Nebraska) to multi-year deals.

Liz signed a three-year extension with the team. Since 2017 Liz has been the most consistent scorer on the team averaging 19.77 points in 87 games.

Cheatham was one of the few positives for Ponce during the BSN bubble averaging 10.56 points in nine games.

Ponce expects to be active on free agency and signing impact imports for the 2021 season. The team finished in last place during the 2020 season for the first time in BSN history.
