Manati keeps Quinones for another season

Isalys Quinones

Atenienses de Manati (BSNF) re-signed 25-year old Puerto Rican-American international 190cm power forward Isalys Quinones (college: Dartmouth). Quinones played there last season. She missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball.
Quinones also represented Puerto Rico at the FIBA Centrobasket Women's Championship in Mexico 25 years ago. Quinones' team won Gold and her stats at that event were 5 games: 15.2ppg, Reb-2 (9.0rpg), 1.2apg, Steals-3 (2.4spg), FGP-2 (65.7%), 3PT: 20.0%, FT-2 (88.9%).
Thanks to Quinones' pro career she managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Australia and of course North America). She has played previously professionally in Australia (Seahawks), France (Tarbes) and Greece (PAOK Thessaloniki and Dafni Agioy).
Among many awards her team won Puerto Rican BSNF Regular Season in 2022. Quinones was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican BSNF Honorable Mention in 2022.
She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2019 and it will be her fifth season in pro basketball.
