D.J. Wilson (ex Jilin NE T.) signs at Santurce

Cangrejeros de Santurce (BSN) signed 30-year-old American 208cm forward D.J. Wilson (college: Michigan). He transferred from Jilin Northeast Tigers in the Chinese CBA league. In 41 games, he averaged 17.1ppg, 10.3rpg, 3.1apg, and 1.3bpg last season. He was voted League Player of the Week twice. Prior to that, he played for Sharks in the CBA.
In 2017, he was drafted by the Milwaukee Bucks (NBA) in the first round (17th overall). Wilson graduated from the University of Michigan, and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. Wilson has played professionally in the NBA (Houston Rockets, Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, OKC Thunder, and Toronto Raptors), NBA G League (OKC Blue, Wisconsin Herd, and Osceola Magic), and NBA Summer League (Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors).
He won the NBA G League Eastern Conference championship title in 2024.
