Carolina de Gigantes clinch BSNF title - Nov 14, 2010

Carolina de Gigantes celebrated 2010 BSNF championship title. They held off Valencianas de Juncos in six games of the title series. The decider went in favor of Carolina 78:68. Angiely Morales (178-G-87) stepped up with 23 points to pace Carolina de Gigantes in the final game.
Valencianas de Juncos fought bravely in the six game of the series. Carolina led by four points at halftime 39:35. But Valencianas de Juncos turned things around in the third frame. They surged ahead to take a 57:55 advantage with one quarter remaining. Carolina increased the tempo in the final stanza. They put their noses back in front and rallied to a hard victory at the end. Cynthia Valentin (173-G-84, agency: LBM Management, college: Indiana) accounted for 21 points in the win.
The Superior League awards were announced after the final game. Pamela Rosado (161-G-86) of Montaceras de Morovis was named the tournaments MVP. Cynthia Valentin was trumped the MVP of the Finals.
