    Aguada celebrated BSN title. They edged Ponce on the road in Game 6 to clinch 4-2 victory in the championship series. The guests trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 27-20 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Santeros made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for Dominican guard Rigoberto Mendoza (190-92) who led his team to a victory with 28 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). The former international swingman John Holland (195-88, college: Boston U., agency: Wasserman) contributed with 20 points for the winners. The former international swingman Angel-Daniel Vassallo (198-86, college: Virginia Tech) replied with 29 points and 6 rebounds and Dominican Victor Liz (193-86) added 17 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Leones. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

    South selection edged North in the BSN All-Star Game. Carlos Arroyo (188-PG-79, college: FIU, agency: Interperformances) was named the MVP. He finished the game issued 21 assists in the game. Jezreel De Jesus (185-G-91, agency: Interperformances) posted 28 points for the winners. Isaac Sosa added 23 points in the victory. South grabbed a 71:67 lead at the big break. They stretched the margin at 15-point mark 95:80 in the second half. North managed to pull within three points late in the game 128:131. But South hung on to win the game.
