BSN announced June 15 and August 15 as possible restarting dates for the 2020 season. The season stopped on March 11 as a measure to comply with the government's stay-at-home order in order to stop the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the island.

The league is getting financial and operational data from the teams in order to have all the details before making important decisions regarding the possible restart or league cancellation. More news are expected this week.

So far, the only confirmed coronavirus case in the league was Indios head coach Flor Melendez who was hospitalized a couple of weeks ago and recently recovered. No other players or team personnel tested positive for the virus.
