Bayamon signed Wenyen Gabriel

Vaqueros de Bayamon announced the signing of NBA center Wenyen Gabriel (208-PF-1997, college: Kentucky).

Gabriel is currently under a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies. His arrival is contingent of him finishing his commitment in the NBA.

This season with Wisconsin in the NBA G-League he averaged 14.9 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 40 games.

He signed his 10-day deal with Memphis on March 8. Against Oklahoma City he scored 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.

Bayamon will have two new imports to start the season as Jacob Wiley is playing in Spain and Kristian Doolittle is expected to arrive later in the year.
