BSN adds third import

BSN announced that all teams can have up to three imports for the 2025 season.

The move -approved by 11 of the 12 franchise holders- adds a third import for all teams next season. In 2024 all teams except Caguas (who had three) had a limit of two imports on their roster. This gives the teams additional flexibility at the time of building a competitive roster due to the lack of native players who can make an impact available.

So far, the players association is against the addition of a third import and are evaluating the next steps to protest this change.

The 2025 BSN season is scheduled to start on March 15.
