Boyd's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

28-year old American point guard Brandon Boyd (180-PG-1997) had a very impressive game in the last week for Mets de Guaynabo and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 30.
He got a double-double of 31 points and 11 assists, while his team beat Santurce (#2, 22-12) 102-97. Mets maintains the 5th position in their group in the Puerto Rican league. Guaynabo is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 13-21 record. In the team's last game Boyd had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. He has many years of experience at Mets, through which he has constantly improved. Brandon Boyd averages this season 8.7ppg.

Second best performed player last week was Cheick Diallo (206-C/F-1996) of Osos de Manati. He is Mali in his first season at Manati. In the last game Diallo recorded an impressive double-double of 27 points and 15 rebounds. Of course Osos cruised to a 101-94 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Caguas (#3, 18-16). Manati's 6th position in Group B has not changed. 26 lost games are too many comparing to just eight victories Osos managed to get this year. Diallo is one of the most experienced players at Manati and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.3ppg (#8). He also registered 9.6 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Michael Devoe (196-G-1999) of Leones de Ponce (#3). Devoe showcased his all-around game by recording 24 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists in the last week. He was a key player of Leones, leading his team to a 113-84 easy win against the lower-ranked Aguada (#6, 11-23). Ponce needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Group A. Their record at this point is 18 victories and 16 lost games. Devoe has a very solid season. In 6 games in Puerto Rico he scored 10.5ppg. He also has 3.5apg, a FGP of 73.7% and 3PT: 52.9%.

9. Dyondre Dominguez (203-F-2000) of Carolina - 24 points and 6 rebounds
10. Brandon Knight (190-G-1991) of Arecibo - 28 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists
