Longevida San Pablo Burgos add Jackson to their roster

Longevida San Pablo Burgos added 26-year-old Puerto Rican-Panamanian point guard Jhivvan Jackson to their roster for the 2025-26 season. Jackson, who stands at 182cm and weighs 77kg, played for FIT/One Wuerzburg Baskets in the German BBL league last season. He had an impressive season, averaging 17.3ppg, 3.5rpg, 4.3apg, and 1.4spg in 41 BBL games, helping his team reach the semifinals. Jackson was named Eurobasket.com All-German League Import Player of the Year, Player of the Year, and Guard of the Year. He also played 12 games in the Basketball Champions League, averaging 20.7ppg, 3.2rpg, 5.7apg, and 1.5spg, earning him a spot on the Eurobasket.com Basketball Champions League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week. In the previous summer of 2024, he played for Osos in Puerto Rico.
He represented Puerto Rico at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers two years ago. His team got to the Semifinals and he averaged over 15 ppg.
His career allowed him to visit three different continents. Jackson tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Latin America, and of course North America. He has played professionally in Belgium (Spirou Charleroi) and Spain (Menorca).
Jackson was also voted District 7-6A Offensive Player of the Year in 2016 during high school.
He graduated from the University of Texas San Antonio in 2021, and it will be his fifth season as a pro player.
