Bayamon - Santurce 86-74

Vaqueros made 23-of-29 charity shots (79.3 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Cangrejeros were plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for Italian forward Danilo Gallinari (208-1988) who led the winners and scored 32 points and 9 rebounds. American center Javale McGee (213-1988, college: Nevada) accounted for 20 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side. The former international point guard Angel Rodriguez (180-1992, college: Miami, FL) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 assists and the former international forward Angel Matias (194-1992, college: Georgia South) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Cangrejeros in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.

American power forward Brady Manek (206-1998, college: UNC) helped adding 14 points and 15 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American power forward Nick Perkins (203-1996, college: Buffalo) with 24 points and 9 rebounds and New Zealand forward Samuel Waardenburg (208-1999, college: Miami, FL) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
