Dominican swingman Chris Duarte (197-1997, college: Oregon) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!) and 4 steals for the winners and the former international guard Gary Browne (185-1993, college: WVU) chipped in 17 points and 7 assists. American forward Kenneth Faried (203-1989, college: Morehead St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and the other American import swingman Ian Clark (190-1991, college: Belmont) scored 16 points. Four Vaqueros and five Cangrejeros players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
