Michael Devoe (196-1999, college:
Georgia Tech) responded with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import guard
Matt Mooney (189-1997, college:
Texas Tech) scored 17 points. Four
Ponce players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
