Lions keep Queeley for another season- July 25, 2023

Queeley won Basketball League championship title in 2020 and 2021 and made it to the cup final in 2022. The previous (2021-22) season he played at Hereda San Pablo Burgos in Spanish Liga Endesa. But in 11 games he got only 0.3ppg in that year. He also played 2 games in Basketball Champions League where he got only 1.0ppg and 1.0apg in that year. Queeley has been also a member of British international program for some years. He has regularly played for British senior team since 2020 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2018. Queeley represented United Kingdom at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 in Tel-Aviv (Israel) four years ago. His stats at that event were 3 games: 12.3ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.3apg, FGP: 53.8%, 3PT: 28.6%, FT: 37.5%. He has played previously for three other Spanish teams: Real Madrid 2nd team, Burgos Nissan and Real Madrid. Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 Honorable Mention back in 2019.
