Surrey sign a second import player

Kareem Queeley

The Surrey 89ers (SLB) signed 24-year-old former British-Kittitian international 195cm guard Kareem Queeley for the upcoming season. He is the second foreign player on the roster, with USA's Isiah Small having signed earlier. Queeley has played for the last two years with the London Lions.
He was also a member of the British international program for some years. He played for British Senior National Team between 2020 and 2022 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2018.
Queeley has played previously in Spain (Longevida San Pablo Burgos, Real Madrid 2nd team, Burgos, and Real Madrid) and Spain. He won the British BBL championship title in 2024.
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U20 Honorable Mention back in 2019.
