Argentina and Colombia to meet in the Finals

Argentina and Brazil will fight for the Gold at U17 South American Championship. There is a three-way tie on top of the standings with Argentina, Colombia and Brazil having the same 5-1 record. However, Argentina is No.1 in this circle and Colombia No.2, which gave them a chance to fight for the first place. Colombia will meet Chile for the Bronze, while Ecuador and Uruguay will play for the fifth place. Peru finished as the last ranked team at this event.
In crucial game for the first place in Preliminary Round, Argentina outplayed Colombia last night 66-61. Micaela Sancisi (160-G-94) was the leading player in victory with 23 points. Sofia Aispurua (95) secured a great help with double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds. In the loosing squad, Sara Sosa (95) had 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.
Saturday is the last day of the championship.
