Argentina wins South American U15 Championship

Argentina won South American U15 Championship in Ecuador. Last night they beat Venezuela U15 in the Final game 65-54. Both teams nailed 14 points each in the first period, while Argentina took a 2-point lead at the half-time. The final quarter was decisive in the game as the champions needed a final 23-14 push to seal the trophy.
ACEVEDO top-scored for the winners with 25 points and Florencia Chagas (174-G-01) notched 14. ZAPATA replied with 21 points in the losing effort.
In the game for the third place Colombia U15 overcame Ecuador U15 57-44.
