Ecuador opened win count in Sucre. They outgunned Uruguay for 1-2 record in Group A. Samy Bacilio (180-F-03) tallied 13 points and 10 boards in the win. Ecuador posted a 37:15 halftime lead. Chile - Peru 80-52
Chile topped Peru to secure the semifinal birth. Jovanka Ljubetic (170-PG-00) delivered 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Chile secured a 36:22 halftime advantage. They followed with a 25:12 run in the third term to clear off for good. Retamales Macarena (182-F/C-01) accounted for 14 points in the victory. Argentina - Bolivia 100-33
Argentina held off Bolivia to stay undefeated at the championship. Sofia Acevedo (167-PG-01) notched 19 points in the win. Argentina posted a 48:15 halftime lead. They added 52 points in the second half to ease to the win. Florencia Chagas (174-G-01) had 15 points in the victory. Noelia Tapia (157-SG-01) responded with 12 points for Bolivia.
