Chile - Colombia 32-54
Colombia outgunned Chile to record the second straight victory at the tournament. Naylee Cortes produced 12 points for the winners. Colombia recorded a 34:21 halftime lead. They held Chile to just 11 points in the second half to rally to the victory. Daniela Gonzalez (179-C-02) had 10 points and 13 rebounds for Colombia. Martina Cousino (02) answered with 9 points for Chile.

Uruguay - Argentina 51-54
Argentina toppled Uruguay for 2-0 record in Group B. Argentina secured a 32:26 halftime lead. Uruguay denied the deficit in the third term as the teams entered the fourth quarter tied at 41. But Argentina managed to snatch a narrow tough win at the end. Natalia Tondi (174-PG-03) produced 13 points, while Milagros Maza (171-SF-03) added 12 points for Argentina. Maite Pereira (170-SG-04) answered with 16 points for Uruguay.

Paraguay - Brazil 53-75
Brazil cruised past Paraguay for the second win in a row in Barranquilla. Brazil piled up a 37:31 halftime lead. They followed with a strong 38:22 second half rally to secure the winning outcome. Maisa Pereira (183-PF-02) had 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Beatriz Biscuola (170-PG-02) added 11 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Ana Britez (02) replied with 14 points for Paraguay.

Ecuador - Venezuela 81-33
Ecuador raced past Venezuela to earn the first win in Group A. Karla Benitez (177-F/G-02) produced 17 points for the winning side. Ecuador registered a 40:26 halftime lead. They held Venezuela to just 7 points in the second half to march to the win. Daniela Arguello (157-G-03) and Alison Barreno (165-PG-02) connected for 12 points each in the victory. Stefany Ferrer (173-SG-05) knocked down 9 points for Venezuela.
