Guillermo Moreno has been named as the National Head Coach, team will start practices in June 12 .

The list actually sounds good having almost the most talented Colombian players but will be very difficult to bring the Colombians abroad for many reasons, Tello-Palacios is currently on recovery and will take at least 6 weeks more to be healed, Trocha, Mosquera, Angola, Mejia and Atencia are currently updating his classes , Diaz played just one game this season due to an injury, the situation lefts the national coach with the players that plays in the Liga Directv which is not bad because those players are actually in game shape.
Stalin Ortiz , despite his 35 years of age, looks healthy and in shape, scoring as usual something that is good news for the team, and with Caicedo, Perez, Hernandez, Jackson , Salazar and Almanza will made the core of the team; Edgar Moreno is also included in the list buts he's playing just 16 minutes per game in a limited role for his Cimarrones so looks like he's not ready to bring the kind of play he once had.
The Southamerican Tournament starts in June 26 and Colombian will be traveling to Venezuela one week before to play in a friendly tournament, that includes Venezuela and Uruguay, the national team is seeded in the group B with Argentina, Peru, Uruguay and Chile.
The first 6 teams of the Southamerican tournament will get a place in the World Cup Qualifier.
