Venezuelan Shooting guard Edgar Lugo (189-G-82, college: Lehman) came out to play like a scoring machine this past Friday November 19, 2010 becoming the leader of his basketball team Parque Hostos on the victory versus its eternal rival La Matica 96-93. This one was the second game of Fridays doubleheader of the Superior Basketball Tournament XVII of La Vega, Dominican Republic. The best man of the game was Edgar Lugo with 31 points and 6 rebounds followed by his team mates Kelvin Pena (193-G-80, college: Southeastern CC) with 19 points, 7 assist and 5 rebounds as well as Carlos Paniagua (201-F/C-76, college: Tenn Temple) with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Despite the defeat La Matica had its leaders on Luis Martinez (198-F-84, college: William Pater.) with 23 points helped by Jack Michael Martinez (203-F/C-81,) 20 points and 16 rebounds.
