Outstanding Venezuelan power forward Hector 'pepito' Romero became an Indian thanks to his deal with the Puerto Rican professional basketball team Indians of Mayaguez. Hector Romero (202-F/C-80, college: New Orleans) whom is one of the main icons of the professional basketball league of Venezuela as well as of Marinos de Anzoategui Basketball BBC said that Marinos always was his first option to play this 2011 season but it seems like the plan of team was not the same. 'We were calling them before take this decision, Hector Romero, but they didn't answer the phone... I was hoping to play in Venezuela...it is not fair...I have not another option...They ignored me completely'
