Coach Tony has to take it easy- February 27, 2012
Guaros de Lara now belongs to former major league baseball player Luis Sojo along with his business partner Jose Hernandez and is not a secret that the new Guaros de Lara management is doing a great job in order to be in the 2012 LPB championship game; as a matter of fact they were trying to hire a former NBA super star Allan Iverson as well as seating down on the bench as Head coach the well-known Puerto Rican basketball coach Tony Ruiz. So far neither of them is going to be with the basketball team of the musical State of Venezuela; Mr. Iverson decided to play indoor soccer in New York instead and Coach Tony Ruiz had a pre-Myocardial Infarction on last Friday Feb 24. According with Doctor Rami Souki Chmeit whom is taking care of the Boricua coach, he has to give up his position as Guaros basketball Head coach due this delicate health situation. Assistant coach Oscar Silva is acting now as Guaros head coach while Sojo and Hernndez are looking for the substitute. This past weekend (Feb, 25-26) Guaros divided its local series of two games versus Toros de Aragua. |
