Group A Delfines de Miranda (VEN) 79 - Deportivo San Jose (PAR) 73 San Jose: Javier Martinez 28, Michael Robinson 22, Bruno Martinessi 2, Guilio Laratro 2 and Curtis Williams 10. Also played: Aldo Acosta 3, Gustavo Paniagua 2, Humberto Riveros 1 and Guillermo Araujo 6. Delfines: Lazaro Borrell 2, Richard Lugo 4, Rafael Guevara 29, Luis Julio 5 and Victor David Diaz 15. Also played: Diego Guevara, Carl Herrera 4, Ronnie Fields 13, Ludwig Irazabal 2 and Herbert Bayona 6. Delfines (VEN) defeated San Jose (PAR) 79-73 to finish Group A undefeated and alone at first place, while the locals advanced in second place. Rafael Guevara scored 29 points and Victor David Diaz added 15 more for Miranda, while Javier Martinez with 28 points and Michael Robinson with 22 points were the best scorers of the paraguayan side. Llanquihue (CHI) - Regatas Lima (PER) 91-88 In the other Group A match, Provincial Llanquihue (Chile) ended at third place with a 1-2 record after defeating Regatas de Lima (Perú) 91-88. Regatas were unable to win any of their three matches and go home as well.
Guacharos de Maturin (VEN) 94 - Piratas de Bogotá (COL) 89 Guacharos: Richard Alvis 2, Elvis Montero 22, Leonardo Cappare 17, Jorge Rivera 4 and Kervin Bracho. Also played: David Cedeno 4, Jose Elias Martinez 4, Miguel Angel Marriaga 9, Peter Alexander and Victor Luces 8 points. Piratas: David Reyes 5, Ricardo Sanz 9, Stalin Ortiz 13, John Giraldo 28 and Herb Becker 8. Also played: Johnny Tyson 11, Jairo Mendoza 3, Daniel Restrepo 8 and Rodney Hawkins 2. Meanwhile, Group B had a different finish, with thrilling matches. Although Guacharos de Maturin (Venezuela) were able to beat Piratas de Bogotá (Colombia) 94-89 and finished with a 2-1 record, they were both eliminated of the competition. Kervin Bracho scored 24 points and Elvis Montero added 22 more for Maturin, while the columbians were headed by John Giraldo with 28 points. Boca Juniors (Argentina) - Uberlandia (Brazil) 94-83 Boca Juniors: Fernando Malara 14, Juan Pablo Sartorelli, Martin Leiva 16, Paolo Quinteros (185-G-79) 30 and Brown Raheim 13. Also played: Juan Pablo Rotta 4, Leandro Peralta 5, Matias Sandes 4, Lucas Ortiz, Sebastian Cesta 15 and Alejandro Burgos 4.
