Barquisimeto, Venezuela - In the second gameday of the 2006 South American Clubs Championship, Boca Juniors (Argentina) became the leaders as they fought their way into their second straight victory over the tough Universo BRB (Brazil), in a thrilling 76-74.



Meanwhile, Gimnasia y Esgrima (Argentina) got their first triumph after sending Universidad Catolica (Chile) back to reality, 81-51. Guerreros de Lara (Venezuela) got back on track with a spectacular night over Deportivo San Jose (Paraguay), 94-54.
