The Nets keep Claxton for another season

Brooklyn Nets re-signed 23-year old Virgin Islander 6-11 center Nicolas Claxton (college: Georgia). Claxton has played there for the last three seasons.
Three years ago he was drafted by the Nets in second round (31st overall). The former University of Georgia standout is in his fourth season in pro basketball.
He was also a member of U.S. Virgin Islands international program for some years. Claxton played for U.S. Virgin Islands Senior National Team two years ago and previously for U17 National Team back in 2015.
He also represented U.S. Virgin Islands at the FIBA Americas Championship U18 in Valdivia (Chile) six years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 12.0ppg, 7.2rpg, 1.0apg, 1.0spg, Blocks-1 (3.6bpg), FGP: 23.6%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 78.1%.
Claxton has played previously for Long Island Nets.
