Dominican Republic - US Virgin Islands 77:58

Dominican Republic beats US Virgin Islands 77-58 in the second match of the FIBA Americup 2022 held in Recife, Brazil. They opened the game with a 22-14 run and added a 16-9 rally in the second period. Virgin Islands tried to come back in the match and even ended up winning the third quarter 20-18, but the Dominicans held on and won the final period 21-15.
Andres Feliz (188-SG-1997, college: Illinois) top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Angel Delgado (208-PF-1994, college: Seton Hall) brought 15. Sadiel Rojas (195-SF-1989, college: OKWU) and Yeison Yan (190-SG-1996) followed them with 10 points each. Ivan Aska (201-F-1990, college: Murray St., agency: 011 Sports) and Romani Hansen (203-F-1997, college: Albany) answered with 10 points each in a loss.
