LaRon Smith

Afanion-CB-Almansa (LEB Gold) signed 29-year old Virgin Islander-U.S. Virgin Islands international forward LaRon Smith (205cm-98kg-1993, college: Auburn, agency: Helping Ballers). He played recently at Club Ourense Baloncesto.
He also represented U.S. Virgin Islands at the Panamerican Games in Lima (Peru) four years ago. His stats at that event were 4 games: 13.0ppg, 5.5rpg, FGP: 66.7%, FT: 61.5%.
Smith is quite experienced player. He has played in seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Smith has played previously professionally in Argentina (Atenas), Bulgaria (Yambol), Cyprus (Etha), Mexico (Dorados), Sweden (BC Lulea), Spain (Navarra and Sant Antoni) and The Basketball Tournament (War Tampa and War Ready).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won Cyprus Supercup in 2019. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Bulgarian League Honorable Mention back in 2019.
Smith is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
He graduated from Auburn University in 2017 and it is his sixth season as a professional player.
