De'Quon Lake

Naturtex-SZTE-Szedeak Szeged (A Division) agreed terms with 26-year old Virgin Islander power forward De'Quon Lake (208cm-102kg-1997, college: Arizona State) for new 2023-24 season. Lake played last season at Czarni in Polish EBL league. In 33 games he had 5.8ppg and 4.4rpg. He also played 2 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he recorded 10.0ppg, 2.0rpg and 1.5spg.
Lake ended the previous (2022) season at Athletics Miami in U.S. semi-pro league TBT. In only one game he averaged 5 points, 6 rebounds and 1 block in 2022 year. But the most of that year he spent at Grises in Puerto Rican BSN. In 12 games he got 8.8ppg, 4.6rpg and 1.2apg in 2022 year.
He has played on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Lake has played previously professionally in Belarus (BC Minsk), Hungary (Szombathely) and NBA G League (OKC Blue).
He was voted to All-ICCAC D1 Honorable Mention back in 2016.
Lake graduated from Arizona State in 2019 and it will be his fifth season as a professional player. He played also for Iowa Western Community College for 2 years.
