Deon Edwin agreed terms with Debreceni Egyetem- September 3, 2023
He ended the previous (2021-22) season at Rabotnicki in North Macedonian Prva Liga where in 10 games he averaged remarkable 20.0ppg, 5.5rpg, 8.9apg and 1.8spg in that year. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-North Macedonian League Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times). But the most of that year he spent at Khimik in Ukrainian Superleague. In 26 games he had 12.0ppg, 4.5rpg and 3.3apg in that year. He has been regularly called to U.S. Virgin Islands Senior National Team since 2012. He has played previously professionally in Finland (Kotka) and Ukraine (Kyiv Basket and Prometey). Among many awards he won Ukrainian Superleague championship title in 2019. Edwin received Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Superleague Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Superleague Import Player of the Year award back in 2019. He graduated from Kent State in 2017 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball. Edwin played also for Laramie County Community College for one year.
