Diablos de Miranda (SPB) signed 27-year old Virgin Islander international forward Romani Hansen (203cm-91kg-1997, college: Albany) for upcoming 2024 season. Hansen just played at L.Borges in Uruguayan LUB league. In 11 games he had 10.4ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.7apg and 1.5spg last season. He also played for Hoops in Lebanese LBL where in 9 LUB games he recorded very impressive stats: 19.0ppg, 9.4rpg, 2.6apg, 2.0spg and 1.6bpg.
Hansen also represented U.S. Virgin Islands at the Central American and Caribbean Games in San Salvador (El Salvador) last year.
He is quite experienced player. Hansen has played in four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Finland (Pyrinto), Luxembourg (Hansenffingen), Portugal (Maia Basket) and Switzerland (Starwings).
He graduated from University at Albany in 2020 and it is his fourth season as a professional player. Hansen played for other colleges like: Savannah State University, Independence Community College, Pensacola State College.
