Deon Edwin

Atomeromu SE Paks (A Division) signed 33-year old U.S. Virgin Islands ex-international 192cm guard Deon Edwin (college: Kent State). It is actually his comeback to Paks as he has played here before. He was the second-best scorer at MZT Skopje in North Macedonian Prva Liga last season where in 32 games he recorded 11.8ppg, 4.8rpg, and 2.2apg. He helped them to win the league title and the Supercup. Great season indeed as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-North Macedonian League Finals MVP and voted to Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week. Edwin also played 6 games in ABA League where he averaged 14.5ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.8apg, and 1.3spg. The previous (2023-24) season he played at Debreceni Egyetem. He was a member of the U.S. Virgin Islands Senior National Team between 2012 and 2022.
Edwin has also played professionally in Finland (KTP-Basket) and Ukraine (Khimik, Kyiv Basket, and Prometey).
He received the Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian Superleague Player of the Year award in 2019.
He graduated from Kent State in 2017 and it will be his ninth season in pro basketball. Edwin played for other colleges like Laramie County Community College and the University of Southern Mississippi.
