2022 United Cup: Immortals overpower Bulldogs to claim Superior Championship

Immortals opened the game on a 14:2 run. But Bulldogs found their answer in Kendan Lewis (193-G-1989, college: St.Francis, IN) as he scored 8 consecutive points to keep Bulldogs close. Immortals however finished the quarter on a strong rally to take a 23:14 lead after ten minutes. Immortals quickly ballooned the lead to as many as 14 points in the second period. Clavontae Brown (188-G-1991, college: BENUS) came up big for the Immortals with 22 points and 6 rebounds. But Immortals stayed confident restoring a double-digit lead and finishing the first half up by 12 points 43:31. GIE started to overwhelm the Bulldogs in the third quarter. Amet Gil (191-G/F-1988) completed three-point play to give the Immortals a massive 22-point lead 55:33.

The Immortals won the game 79-66 to claim their second United Cup title. Oliver Garcia was named Finals MVP.
