United Cup España FEB 2026 Set for Spain

MATARÓ, SPAIN CB Boet Basketball and Trinity United, LLC will once again shine a spotlight on basketball, unity, and community impact with the 2026 United Cup España FEB, taking place August 26 – September 3, 2026, in Barcelona and Mataró, Spain.

The preseason tournament will feature clubs from the Federación Española de Baloncesto (FEB) alongside teams from the United States, continuing a growing tradition of international competition, cultural exchange, and social responsibility through basketball.

The United Cup España FEB serves as a key preseason event for participating FEB clubs while advancing CB Boet Basketball and Trinity United, LLC's shared commitment to youth development and community engagement. The tournament brings together clubs, coaches, players, fans, and local communities from Spain and the United States, reinforcing the belief that basketball can be a powerful vehicle for positive social change.

Spanish clubs will use the competition to prepare for the upcoming FEB season, while American players gain valuable exposure competing against high-level Spanish opposition in front of coaches, clubs, and media.

This year's tournament theme, "Where Worlds Collide," represents the event's core mission of bringing different cultures together through teamwork, respect, and a shared love for the game. Throughout the week, American participants will experience Spanish basketball while building relationships with local clubs, players, and coaches.

As part of the tournament's community initiative, U.S. players will conduct a youth basketball clinic for CB Boet Basketball players ages U8 through U15, reinforcing the event's commitment to developing the next generation both on and off the court.

The United Cup España FEB, formerly known as the Liga Mediterranean Cup, was founded in 2017 by Jermaine Barnes and Alberto Pena . Originally created to help Spanish clubs prepare for the upcoming FEB season while providing American players an opportunity to compete in Europe, the event has evolved into an annual celebration of international basketball, youth development, and cultural exchange throughout Barcelona and Mataró.
