Georgia Panthers to join 2024 United Cup Superior

Georgia Panthers will join the 2024 United Cup of Champions (UCC) for its first official participation in international competitions. The Georgia Panthers are the first club selected to play in the 2024 UC. The Panthers announce Ben Njie (6'4''-F-1984, college: Auburn) as team captain along with reigning 2022 United Cup Player of the Year Marquin Chandler (6'8''-F-1982, college: SJSU). Chandler is no stranger to the event as he has won a total of three championships and two MVP awards. In 2022 Chandler posted 21.8ppg, 9.0rpg, 3.4apg, 1.2spg, FGP: 50.8%, 3FG: 40.8%, FT: 88.7%.

The Panthers seem to be only focused on one goal, a championship. The team is full of high-powered veteran players. Paul Harrison (6'8''-PF-1989, college: NGU) will be a problem child in the front court with Chandler. Harrison has proven to be a big scorer in Latin America. Last season he averaged an impressive 22.0ppg and 11 rebounds in Uruguay (LUB).
