Santiago Basket Titanes Dorado (LDC) signed experienced 35-year old shooting guard Amet Gil (191cm-1988) for upcoming 2023-24 season. It is actually his comeback to Santiago as he has played here before. Gil played this summer at Immortals in LDC league in Dominican Republic. In four United Cup games just recently he had 8.3ppg, 3.8rpg and 2.3apg. He also played 12 games in LDC where just recently he recorded 10.1ppg, 4.2rpg, 3.8apg and 1.4spg. Gil helped them to make it to the Dominican Republic LDC Superior final. 2023-23 was a great season as he was named to Dominican Republic LDC All-Star Game. The other team he played shortly was Pueblo Nuevo (Santiago League). He contributed to his team making it to the Dominican Republic LDC Superior final. 2023-23 was a great season as he was named to Dominican Republic LDC All-Star Game.
Gil has spent his entire career in Dominican Republic playing for two other teams: Capitanes and Metros.


The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he won United Cup Superior championship title in 2022. He was voted to Latinbasket.com United Cup All-Domestic Players Team in 2022.
