Georgia Panters signed experienced American ex-international forward Marquin Chandler (6'8''-220lbs-1982, college: SJSU). The last time (2021-2022) he played at Correcaminos in Mexican LNBP. Chandler missed last season and had one year break from professional basketball. He was a member of USA Senior National Team back in 2015.

Chandler is quite experienced player. He has played in eleven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America). Chandler has played previously professionally in Bahrain, Japan (Chiba Seals and Jets), Korea (Anyang), Latvia, Philippines, Portugal (Benfica), Puerto Rico, Singapore, IBL (Tri City B.), UBA (GIE Maile M.) and Tonga (Tonga NT). His team won Mitchell Americas Cup in 2018 and 2019. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com Korean KBL All-Imports Team back in 2008 and 2009.

Chandler is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Georgia Panters.

He graduated from San Jose State University in 2005 and it will be his 19th (!!!) season as a professional player.

Chandler could be described: A natural wing who played 4/5 in High School, adding some inside skills. Can spend time in the point forward position, bringing up the ball most of the time. Can also hit the three point shot with great accuracy, especially when you need it. Dribbles very well in open court.
