Gian Batista

Immortals de Cibao (LDC) added to their roster guard Gian Batista (193cm-84kg, college: Lehman) for the 2024-25 Preseason Tournament in Barcelona, Spain. Batista played last season at Pueblo Nuevo in the Santiago League. In 10 LDC games he recorded 15.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.0apg and 1.0spg. LDC last season. He helped CPN win the Santiago League title. Quite impressive season as he was voted to Dominican Republic LDC All-Star Game and All-Rookie Team. Batista also played 4 games in United Cup where he averaged 8.0ppg, 4.3rpg and 2.0apg.

The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was also selected All-CUNYAC Player of the Year and NABC All-NCAA D3 Second Team in 2022.

Batista graduated from Lehman College in 2022 and it will be his third season as a professional player.

It was announced May 13, 2024 that the Immortals men's basketball team would travel to Spain from August 31-September 10. The team will play preseason games Mataro, Barcelona and Madrid. Matato Parc Boet of the EBA will host the preseason opening round.
