Martinez number one in United Cup for round 4 (by Hoops Agents)

Point guard Yunior Martinez (180-PG-2002) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Padre Gran, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 22-year old player was the main contributor (50 points, six rebounds and seven assists) to his team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Crocs (#6, 0-4) with 45-point margin 148-103. It allowed Padre Gran to take over top position in the United Cup. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Padre Gran has a very solid 3-1 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. In the team's last game Martinez had a remarkable ten three-pointers out of 20 attempts. He turned to be Padre Gran's top player in his first season with the team. Yunior Martinez has solid league stats. He is league's best scorer averaging so far 28.7ppg and is league's best passer with 9.7apg. Martinez is in league's top in and averages impressive 48.3% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was American Lee Langstaff (185-G) of league's second-best Immortals de Cibao. Langstaff had a very good evening with 28 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Of course he led Immortals to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked CDF (#5, 1-3) 110-68. Despite this victory Immortals slide down in the standings to 2nd position. His team's 3-1 record is not bad at all. Langstaff is a newcomer at Immortals, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Padre Gran's star - Alexander Garcia. Garcia got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last round. He went also for eight rebounds . He was another key player of Padre Gran, helping his team with a 148-103 easy win against Crocs (#6, 0-4). Padre Gran confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game. Garcia has a great season in United Cup. After only 4 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.3ppg (2nd best).
