Immortals de Cibao (LDC) signed experienced 34-year old American forward Glen Rice Jr. (198cm-93kg-1991, college: Georgia Tech). Rice moved there from Brillantes in Venezuelan SPB league where he played this season. In three games just recently he had 11.0ppg, 7.0rpg, 4.7apg and 1.0spg.

In 2012 he was drafted by Rio Grande Valley Vipers (D-League) in fourth round (55th overall).

The former Georgia Institute of Technology star is in his 13th (hopefully lucky) season in pro basketball.

He is quite experienced player. Rice has played in sixteen different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Instituto), Australia (Breakers), Bahrain (Al-Ahli), Iran (Chemidor), Israel (Hapoel Holon and Next Urban Maccabi Haifa), Lithuania (Juventus), Mexico (Aaguacateros and Halcones de Ciudad Obregon), Philippines (TNT Tropang), Puerto Rico (Criollos), Saudi Arabia (Al Fateh), Venezuela (Cocodrilos), Dominican Republic (Plaza and Reales), ABA (Atlanta Aliens), UBA (Georgia S.), Nicaragua (Real Esteli) and Big3 (Power). His team was regular season runner-up in Mexican CIBACOPA in 2017 and 2019. Rice was voted to Latinbasket.com Mexican CIBACOPA All-Imports Team back in 2017 and 2019.
