Trinity United 2025 Hall of Fame Induction was a success: United Pro Invitational

Trinity United, LLC and Sports Illustrated Tickets proudly present the USbasket.com TU Hall of Fame Class of 2025, set to be inducted during a special ceremony on May 31st at the United Pro Invitational.

The Universal Basketball Association (UBA), founded in 2009, quickly became North America's premier minor basketball league from 2009 to 2014. Headquartered in Atlanta, the league partnered with major franchises like the Atlanta Hawks (NBA) and Atlanta Dream (WNBA) and gained a reputation as a top talent pipeline, placing over 560 players in Europe, Latin America, and Asia within six seasons. The UBA later expanded into international FIBA competition, helping evolve into today’s LDC Superior League and United Cup of Champions hosted in Santiago, Dominican Republic.

The GIE Maile Matrix franchise leads the league with six UBA championships and four international tournament titles.

Among the Class of 2025 inductees are standout players Erron Maxey (6'6''-F-1978, college: Providence), Mike Sloan (6'5''-G/F-1984, college: Clayton St.) and Freddie Williams (6'2''-G-1987, college: Clayton St.), both members of the 2011 UBA champion Southern Generals, known as the "Legend Killers." Williams was named Finals MVP, while Sloan captured League MVP honors that same year. Maxey was voted the leagues Most talented player by all owners and coaches.

Also inducted is UBA legend Will De La Cruz (6'2''-G-1980, college: Point, GA), the Hall of Fame’s first member in 2014, along with a slate of celebrated players and coaches who left a lasting mark on the league.

The celebration will include a tipoff ceremony, awards gala, Class of 2025 ring presentations, and recognition during the 2025 United Pro Invitational, also presented by Sports Illustrated Tickets.
