Malvin won the Uruguayan League beating Bigua 3-1 - Mar 15, 2011
 
Malvin won for the second time the Uruguayan League after beating Bigua 94-80, to take a 3-1 lead for the best of five final serie. Malvin, which won the title for the first time in 2006, took a clear lead during the third quarter with a 20-6 run. The game was tied for the 10th time 51-51 with 6.30 to play during the third quarter, when five points by Christopher Jeffries (199-F-80, college: Wash.-St.Louis) and anoter five by Bruno Fitipaldo (183-G-91) open the way to take the championship. Reque Newsome (204-C-81, college: S.Indiana) was the main scorer and MVP for the game with 27 points 7 rebounds assists, and one blick, while Fitipaldo netted 23 points with 4/7 for three point shots, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Jeffries scored 19 points with 6 rebounds and 3 assists, and the ther import player, Mark Bortz netted 10 points with 3 rebounds. For Bigua Emilio Taboada (191-F-82) scored 27 points, wioth 3/6 three point shotsand 6 assists, Michael Sweetney (203-F-82, college: Georgetown) netted 22 points with 9 rebounds, and Elgrace Wilborn (203-F-83, college: W.Kentucky) scored 8 points with 2 rebounds.
