Soarez comes back to Ponferrada, ex Stockolmo

Clinica Ponferrada SDP (Segunda FEB) added to their roster experienced 38-year old Uruguayan center Diego Soarez (205cm-1987). It is actually his comeback to Ponferrada as he has played here before. The last time (2024) he played at Stockolmo in Uruguayan Liga de Ascenso. He missed last two seasons and had longer break from professional basketball.
He is quite experienced player. Thanks to Soarez's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and Australia) in four different countries. Soarez has played previously in Argentina (Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata), Australia (Eagles), Uruguay (Welcome, Defensor, Aguada, Hebraica and Trouville) and Spain (Marbella).
His team made it to the Uruguay Metropolitan League Semifinals in 2024.
It's very possible he may end his playing career at Ponferrada.
